Turn of the weather

so,...I'm walking down this road

sun's shining, biting in my back

breaking me into a sweat

as my heart's pounding at its best

and I'm waiting for this girl I just met

she's out there, somewhere in the shade

I wonder, will I find and meet her again

so this road's kicking me in the guts

is, something on this road I can trust

in the distance there's a stir

clouds are getting together

a turn of the weather, then near the road

I see something move, is this true

It's true,...

she steps out of the green

all smiles when she sees me

we're hugging and kissing

as the rain pours down on us

we don't care,...

at the turn of the weather

we found something

so much better.
