How the game moves

nothing to choose, nothing to loose, a rock 

climbing a rock that doesn't want to move 

a rock at rockbottom, a rock some what confused

once,... a rock for every one, now, lost in himself

asking questions he never knew he would, faced 

without the support of the love he once knew

he was no longer approved

he build, he chased, he bought 

into the rock an' roll part of the game

he was a steppingstone no more than that

he knew, left without notice, he understood,...

Runnin' without me

I'm runnin', runnin' away, 'cause pain's runnin' beside me

I'm tryin' to shake it, fold it and throw it away, but it won't

and I realised, time was not runnin', it was runnin' without me

so,...I'm looking for an answer, an answer that will listen to me

an answer that will look me in the eye and tell me she's with me

and I realised, time was not runin', it was runnin'without me

'cause I was runnin' , runnin' away from my pain, runnin' beside me

tryin' to shake it, fold it and throw it away, I found an answer, an anwer 

found me again

Status Quo

nothing changes in a moment

nothing changes over time, leaving

a status quo unchanged, ignored and paralised

when a road to greatness wasn't there

when the road to stardom shone, it changed

faltered, died, sprawled out, lying bare on

some distant corner stone

'cause risks are a game changer

changers of an outdated status quo

changers of a life for the one

brave enough going solo

as words, actions,accountibility 

and a relentless drive  matter

changing a generation in need of hope

a hope that's reason enough to choose and take on 

the reward of greatness on a new road

as a status quo will change when greatness is shown
