when the rain has fallen, but its solution, a road less travelled 

still speaks a lie, take no prisoners but escape into the light

Forever love

I need a reason and the reason's 'why'

'cause why should I stay, when my world's falling apart ans astray

you were my first choice, my first love, I trusted you

with all my trust and my forever love

now,...cast aside in a whirlwind of dust and forever time

maybe you think in what you had was never there

but sometimes what you think, was always there and never left

just you know,... I've known your reason, all along and all too well

So now in parting our ways, I wish you well, my advice, don't come back

On a sweet Summer's day

I don't know why

but she came to me on a sweet Summer's day

a sweet lady, with her sweet breeze of the day lying in wait

and she took my love, showed it to everybody's eyes

she was so much in love and everybody knew why

she gave me that meaning in life, so many are denied

but to me it was a gift, given to me with a smile

and every time I look at her I still can see 

the reason why.

Pieces of the unknown

a tear was blocking my view into her heart

as I felt it break into its pieces of the unknown

making me wonder, what happened to cause those  tears

to be shed as they were never shed before, there was no story, memory

or even recollection, as the origin of those tears, was never known

she only looked at me with her eyes in accuse, no words

only silence leaving her breath, still,...

I wonder why she left, in her quiet with drawl

I saw her walking away into ever greener pastures

then,...

I deep down in my heart,...knew

A tear in her eye

the first time we met

I was speechless an ache in progress

consuming, no free surrender

addiction calling for its numbers

so,...we knew, we knew, yet we carried on

holding on to something, we could only lose

so intens, burning inside and out,...

as long as we possibly could

and we did,... a whistle blew

leaving us with only one more last move

her eyes locked into mine

we kissed, a soft goodbye, a tear in her eye

a ship sailed into its own stormy weather

yet love prevailed, it would transcend time

Noise

there's a room I go and talk to

as the walls of my past listen to the secrets that lie hidden

until a silence falls my speech falters and fails

there is no reason, no reason why I should lose myself

in the noise and earthquakes of the words of my mistakes

as I don't care about any word that leaves my breath

travels through those walls and be heard,...over and over again

it will be my yesterdays words that will fall in ruin

as their dust settles down, covering those words once spoken

burying their sound in not a shy way

slowly I am getting up, starting over knowing mistakes 

have a reason of learning as they always do, over and over again.
