when the night has come for him
his feelings are at a point of no return
and looking back is no longer an option
now darkness has become his best friend
giving him its advice to look ahead
at what can and can be as the knowledge
of its distance is not yet known
or has settled in to guide him
he knows sometimes
life can be that stranger
you don't want to meet
as the night comes for him
with its peaceful sleep
