when in the peace of your valley

all your dreams died, as they were satisfied

and loneliness became your friend

why, did you let her go

A pain I can bear

she was one great woman
never said she'd leave kept
me satisfied in love with so
little I was pleased

now she's gone away feelin'
out of touch out of place never
broke the peace yet she never
left me

I decided to call it a day used
me as a puppet with whom she
would play a toy thrown into
its shade

I'm stuck with my love thought
she wouldn't leave my heart misses
its beat yet it won't bring her back
to me

so I'm sittin' here with a wasted life
with a pain I can bear it'll heal in time
packin' my suitcases

haven't got much left collecting
all my things don't think I'll be
back
