Happiness

love sometimes,...is the happiness you're not looking for

and sometimes love is the happiness you don't need, ' cause

when love's not happy it will leave

and the happiness you were looking for is a happiness

in the mind that does not exist and above all is not real.

I've been in love with love so many times 

and how it's treated me, granting me wishes

I never thought and never knew of, but now

it's tearing me up and apart, taking down my 

very soul, taking down the very love I knew

taking down my believes, granting me no peace

' Cause love decided to leave, breaking up with me

this very morning, what can I say, she left me, taking down

my very soul, taking my reasons to believe

a wind of change is blowing them in different directions

blowing them to where I can't see, making me blind to what I feel

on the day we met

'you're such a good friend'

and I thought

I will not be waiting

I will be gone

I know what you've done, 

it won't help

leaving this waiting game

I will be your yesterday

'cause your games will come 

and never end

your shadows will come 

and be your best friend

but I won't be around 

when the sun goes down

and it all comes to an end

Als een schaduw valt

als een schaduw valt

en de tijdgeest keert het zijn rug toe

laat de consequenties zich voltrekken

over de rug van velen, onschuldig als ze zijn

wiens leven er wel heel toevallig

schijnbaar niets meer toe doet

in een spel gespeeld door harteloze

geld, roem en macht beluste, bewuste

emotieloze elitaire geesten

die een beslissende factor zijn

in wie zijn leven nutteloos geeft

en,...

wiens leven nog een leven te gaan heeft

in een wereld 

waar de verzwakte mannelijke geest

niet meer de kracht heeft op te staan

tegen iets, dat na de geboorte

van een voltooid mentaal afbraak proces

zijn gevleugelde schaduw

over alles en iedereen kon uitspreiden

Nieuw geboren dag

wanneer de dromen in hun rust nog sluimeren

de ogen zich nog niet openen, voor de schok

verantwoordelijkheid en realiteit, bij de opstanding

van een nieuwe dag

die de droom van elke droom overschaduwt

en,...

elk nieuw geboren bewustzijn ten boven gaat

wanneer uiteindelijk de ogen zich openen en opnieuw

verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor wat hen wacht

needs no ammunition

it can be wielded

time an' time again

it can be wielded

every an' any given day

cut through

any layer of feeling

cut you down every single day

stab you in the back

at every chance it gets

with every word you say

a verbal knife 

needs no ammunition

it can be stopped with

a powerful word to word combat

it then,...

will never be wielded again

Oblivion

when the world

comes down upon its knees

praying for its rescue

and justice for all its lost souls

and fallen victims

it will only be

a matter of time

before it rises up again

but mankind will fall 

into its own oblivion until a new

civilization appears from

another world and thrives again
