see the sun cast her spell
see the tip of a finger caress
see a hand displaying tenderness

see the eye meet its destination
see the soul belong, see they're
free

see the sunrise in rest, it all seems
so long ago, I must be getting old

Side of the road

I'm standin' here at the side of the road
with people passin' by leavin' their cares
and worries here... at the side of the road

where I'm standin' , with a weary, worried
and troubled mind, with its emptiness
its loneliness  here... at the side of the road

and they pass me by, with their happy faces
smilin' goin' to their happy places and
they  leave me their blues here...
at the side of the road

where I'm  standin' with my weary, worried
and troubled mind and I know it will be some
time before I will travel yet...
