That Survivor

when the sun comes down
the heat is out and the horizon
is in rest a swift breeze will find
me

life comes back to me lifts me up
puts me down back on my feet I wil
always try to be that survivor

and yet some of us will try but won't succeed
and life will always be that bit harder to live

Cloak of heat

the wind is like
a cloak of heat
wrapped around me

and when it gets cold
it only gets colder reaches
each and ev'ry part
reaches my heart

'till finally
a cloak of heat
is wrapped around me
and I can leave and keep
the heat with me

a wind lies down
a frown, coldness
is around

reaches me in
each an' ev'ry part
even my heart it breaks
and comes apart

a wind of time
never comes twice
is like a cloak of heat
always is, it has left me
