Times do change

just one more time, will I go out there
see them once again, look if they have
changed, too bad if they have

take my car and drive it down, they're
still around live a life quiet like, I don't
find what  I've left there's nothing there
for me to take back

we've forgotten how to talk along the same
lines, their eyes sre shifty, voices leaving trail
we're staging a play

I decided not to stay, they're almost glad to
see me go away, a tension's in the air, no time
will I spare, we've drifted apart

no matter the talk, we've drifted apart
we smile, we don't laugh, it's no more
in the heart

Painless=less pain

walking down the streets of my youth
looking here and there for something
old not new

its laughter and pain come to my mind
yesterday's not always, a good thing to
look for and find

'cause your pain, will always become
more, than you'd ever left behind

so now, I'm wandering through my past
and still I miss that light, I then had it
disappeared and left me over night

never to reclaim its right, to shine again
so very bright, a thing of the past, a lot
of pain, a lot of what I never had

but now, shifting through the leafs of time
now I find, my pain has become more or less
less paimless, now I can shine agian, maybe
so very bright, somewhere in time

knowing you

I always go for the first price

the white powder is a test

Just another room

I'm travellin' down the road

sellin' my stuff wherever I go

I'm good at it somethin' I do well

takes me to remote places 

sometimes that little out of the way

still I enjoy it at the end of the road

just another room where I stay

the same girl with the same smile

the same innocent eyes asks:' will I stay

all night ' yes, it is I know what to expect

when I go up she's lying in my bed in 

just another room a new mornin' arrives 

she's gone happens all the time

I pay my bill hoot my horn leave

the place another day on the road

another day of what I do well

in the end just another room
where I rest well

Lifted me up high

there's nothin' in this world
that can bring me down only
love can

and yes, I fought my battles
with love it did bring me down
it did not make me win

it brought me unto my knees
but in the end lifted me up high
so again I could touch the sky

Water on the rocks

water on the rocks is comin' down to us
through the splendour of the grass as our
love is where we rest

heaven never was that steel blue joining
us at natures special tune silent as a summer
breeze in the mornin' dew never, never was
the earth so pure

our love is, as water on the carved rocks
comin' down over the rich land, cuttin'
corners, cuttin' stones and sand through
the splendour of the grass

creatin' its own road to travel to where we
rest as the love is we both share, killin' our
fears below us way down in the sand

water on the rocks just don't seem to end
water on the rocks, comin' down as the love
is we found, water's comin' down comin' down

givin' food to what we found, givin' it reason
to survive, keepin' it alive in shimmering lights,
lettin' it grow into the daylight, see it setllin' down
in our hearts where... it is like water on the rocks

That Survivor

when the sun comes down
the heat is out and the horizon
is in rest a swift breeze will find
me

life comes back to me lifts me up
puts me down back on my feet I wil
always try to be that survivor

and yet some of us will try but won't succeed
and life will always be that bit harder to live

motionless, in need
not a word, not a line
was sent to me

living in the shadow
I wonder, what chose me
to live this life given to me

I'm down on my feet
looking for resources
to get away, from the pain
