Tongue

 

lead me back to the times of laughter 

the banguets flooded with wine

and lard by my rhimes 

of the mere quantities of food used

consumed in harmony with 

the tune of a flute

finding its way down to the bowls

of overfed gentlemen 

nourished by gentle women

in front of a pleasant fire

they admire

telling tales 

as forcefull as gales 

blowing the truth away

the taste of a tongue became

an addiction and a conviction

love's cruel, love's tender,
love's a wonder, love can change
in a flash of anger

most of all it's sweet, has you on a lead
somethin' you can't beat when love's
complete

a shot of love nourishin' your brain
can have a cold touch, soaked in poison
straight to your heart

it'll tear it apart that cold cold touch
love can stare an' have enough, it'll
choose another victim to stay

will set it on fire by wild desire by
wild rage it's caged an' won't leave
this is love complete

stays uncounted days an' nights
you've discovered life, hang on
