Looking for a way out

leaning against my window in time
something broke it, shattering my
believes, my peace of mind

it left me picking up the pieces
threads, remains of lost hopes
while looking for a way out

now after many years on the ride
under attack of a healing process
that almost took my body and mind

my peace of mind raised me up
just in time, to live that very short
bright, long lived life

I hear your voice 

comin' through

 cryin' its pain

an' yes, 

I can hear it when

you're lookin' for shelter 

in a dark cloud when there's 

none to find

an' I know where you are

somewhere waitin' for me

with those cries

and I'll hunt them down 

set you free 'cause 

I wanna make you smile 

givin' you shelter peace o' mind

and you, you'll give me your smile
