sometimes
it can be found a moment away
into the distance where a new morning
is waiting, 'cause it likes to play
this ancient game and love's the name
where it is a search into time as nothing is certain
and nothing else remains but the riscs you have to try
in comes that moment of love as it is ready for the taking
and then again sometimes it just won't come out to play

Times do change
just one more time, will I go out there
see them once again, look if they have
changed, too bad if they have
take my car and drive it down, they're
still around live a life quiet like, I don't
find what I've left there's nothing there
for me to take back
we've forgotten how to talk along the same
lines, their eyes sre shifty, voices leaving trail
we're staging a play
I decided not to stay, they're almost glad to
see me go away, a tension's in the air, no time
will I spare, we've drifted apart
no matter the talk, we've drifted apart
we smile, we don't laugh, it's no more
in the heart

In the attick
a world of its own
a world to own
a world of tales
a generation of play
in the attick
I'm there takin' a share
in the mysteries that came
over me
I 'm almost in retreat
I open up a book
a life is uncovered
from long before
showin' youth
once more
In the attick
I feel young
I feel ten again
good times there
don't feel age
in the attick
so I leaf
through the books
see the toys
dream a little
in the attick
memories a pleasure
sometimes a treasure
sometimes worse
when you were hurt
or more
It was a life
that lived
come to see it
as a gift
in the attick

Fish nor bone
he has no interest whatsoever doesn't play
ball afterall, couldn't care less instead about
the state of distress, you or me might be at
knows nothing wether,
the state is in a mess only one thing he needs,
is my work complete, seems to me, he's dead
meat in a whole lot of trouble, doesn't know
how to live, fish nor bone he is

A place to live
I can still hear that violin play
it was across the road in the inn's
attick it stayed had a lonely sound
the cry of a lost hound
it stuck with me for a long time actually
for more than a while, I travelled along
on a road more than long
'till at the end of the line I reached my
home town with all the pines where patiently
waited my bride
at my wedding night it played for me
for the last time it was never heard of
again only when my first child came
its tune now a happy one it played at the
beginng of dawn shimmering lights wandered
across the fields after that the violin's tune ceased
to be
now an' then I try to whistle it again how much
I wish, it doesn't come to me again it must
have as I did found its place to live

Damaged goods
rollin' with the punches
larger than life itself
knowin' where to fall
as...
nothin' would be the same
'cause time is not a game
life's not a game to play
the minute I fell I knew
I was 'damaged goods'
an' time sounded my bell
