Nights on the town

when nobody is around

everybody is asleep

and silence is a peaceful sound

I'm looking through a window out

into the dark outside, reminiscing

 remembering all those nights on the town

full of laughter, full of life, full of sound

thinking it would never end

now everybody is asleep

an' silence,...

has become a peaceful sound
