Freedom on the rise

they're looking at him
and he makes his first move
it's time to show the facts
they know he would
he knows he should

and they're coming for him
from all walks and sides of life
worried, about the way he speaks
exposing their lies

and yes, he speaks the facts
destroying, their false reality
destroying, a perverted way of life

he sees, them back down
he sees, them subside
he sees, fear in their eyes
he hears their silence
he sees, freedom on the rise

Wish you were here

and here I am coming down my mountain

descending into the lost contents of my weary soul

looking out over the hills covered with my patience

and I know I'm a long way away from going home

and I wish you were here where the trees smell fresh

bearing their purefying fruit for a stricken mind

continuesly on the run as I cannot stop

'cause so much has come weighing down on me

and now  it rains pouring down its remains in the gutter

of my lost tomorrows as yesterdays sun has let me down

and I so wish you were here...

will you take me ...

home ...?

A lonely road

somewhere, out there someone's waiting
walking down a lonely road he has never
seen or known

and he's looking about him waiting not
seeing the richness in his life, he thinks
it's only pain and sorrow that have arrived

now looking ahead into the distance he sees
something out there, a stir on that lonely road
it's that light of fortune coming his way

it has come to take his pains and sorrows
and turn them away

Just a word

I find myself searchin'
walking through the sadness
of a weary night lookin' for answers

lookin' for the word
once whispered in my ear
and now so hard to find

an' I know it's out there somewhere
locked in the wings of time waitin'
hopin' some day somewhere

it will come to me
walking through the sadness
of a weary night

and yes, out of the sadness
came the word and darkness became
a cloak laying over my shoulders when
it told me

I would no longer
walk through the sadness
of a weary night
