my love's a love for someone I cannot have

my love's a love for someone who doesn't know

I do posses this love I have

and my love's a reality, reality rejects

a realistic yet to me unrealistic reason

causing a pain I do not want to have

but then again it's reality

that keeps me in check

Existence

as life has become a stranger to my past

and the road ahead is a friend I never met

why is it, my existence is known to everybodyelse

but not to me

Loving Darkness

leaning back, reminiscing

what once was

reminiscing all those yesterdays

bright and sad

yes, I love the darkness

looking back, leaning back on my front porch

stars in the sky, I wonder why

why darkness can be so bright

Lone wolf

as you lost your soul

knowing she'd never be your mate

you will always be that lonely wolf

whose soul was taken

but never found a way to stay

Sunrise

and you think of those days

filled with a sunrise

you thought would never set

yet, when it did, it never rose again

My Love

my love was a love for someone I could not have 

my love was a love for someone who didn't know

I did poses this love I had

and my love was a reality, my reality did reject

More the wiser

coming down from my mountain

I had no more reason to climb

to where my worries were

now left behind

feeling good, feeling so fine

feeling so right

feeling at home feeling in tune

with my surroundings

yes, no more the fool am I

the fool it was I left behind

more the wiser, stronger in decision

no reason to wonder did I right

I know I did it was my decision

that left her behind

Live or die

 

love's sometimes not new or never heard of

a final commitment with or without any reason

sometimes it stays or leaves with a lie

and yet it is always love that devines

if it will live or die

Eyes

see the eyes that shine
see the eyes that once smiled
see the eyes made to cry
see the eyes go blind
see them look for justice
see them go to war
see them look for freedom
see them fight the evil
see them look for a reason
to reclaim and live out their life
on the land which they were born

Richness

sometimes

love's a reason to build on
sometimes 

love needs to be led 

and sometimes
asked to stay

and if love's a story

it should be told overnight
as a journey on its way 

and if it finds me

I'll kiss its richness 

as a message from far away

River of guilt

when we fell into our river of guilt it almost
drowned us on the way down, and we realised
it is not the words that have been said, it is those
not

it made us want to surface again, back into
the stream of our forgiveness, where we saw
reason in the words that were never spoken
and still had to be, as they were known to both
of us

finally the understanding grew in our eyes, where
emotion settled down and made us believe a future
could still be kind to us

sometimes...days are lonely and
without reason sometimes days
are filled with a sadness you
never knew

but time will come and heal from
within its core as it should when
you're hurting way down deep
from within your core as it
weeps

See reason

I know, yes I know, my flame falters an' will come to heel,
so I sent you my confession not a confession, knowing you're
out there somewhere with an anger allways on the rise,

to show me somehow, somewhere there's somthing of me inside,
so pick up your fight, bring it home to me an' I will guarantee
you an' I will find a reason to see reason an' we will be allright

an' yes I know my flame falters an' will come to heel so I sent
you my confession not a confession, with a reason, for time
in time wil will come to be in short supply but there's no pity
here

It wouldn't be right, so put aside you're anger and come along side
an' I think you an' I will find a reason to see reason for longer than
a while

The long goodbye

when you left for no reason with all that anger inside
you left but you never left us comin' in like an angel
leavin' with a lie but on your ride of the long good bye
you never left us you just had something on your mind

and I know some sweet day I will hear that ol' familiar
knock from way back in time and I'll know you've come
back from your ride on the long good bye with that same
ol' lie never admitting you just couldn't leave us behind
