Love Story
zaterdag 5 maart 2022
I ain't home
sometimes, the hours are lonely, empty
without any words or space to breath
sometimes I cannot hide my anger
and speak the words I should speak as
my relief
and I know there will be no answer
she's not here to hear these words I breath
but these words I speak I speak in her
lingering silence
and are mine and mine only to speak
and I leave the walls that surround me
to meet the world once promised to me
'cause this prison of silence is not meant for
any one not even me
and yes, she should consider her options her new reality
I ain't home and never no more will I be I left my anger
at the threshold of her ignorance walking out of her room
walking out of her existing silence
a silence now her own new realty

May not be all that much
A face can only excist
with eyes that can live and see inside
the thoughts they hide, the fear that's there
and the love it wants to share
the coldness it casts in despair
it may not be all that much
but it is all what they've got
yet eyes can be tamed, eyes can even destruct and maime
eyes can turn insane if jealousy is the name
eyes can scream wild for what they want and didn't get
and yess the eyes, they can be bad
it might not be all that much, but the eyes can make it a lot
eyes... are the face, they express anger and laughter
sadness and badness, almost any thing at will
love for life, the pain and the fear inside
its all in the eyes, it may not be all that much
but it is all what they've got

The long goodbye
when you left for no reason with all that anger inside
you left but you never left us comin' in like an angel
leavin' with a lie but on your ride of the long good bye
you never left us you just had something on your mind
and I know some sweet day I will hear that ol' familiar
knock from way back in time and I'll know you've come
back from your ride on the long good bye with that same
ol' lie never admitting you just couldn't leave us behind
