May not be all that much

 

A face can only excist

with eyes that can  live and see inside

the thoughts they hide, the fear that's there

and the love it wants to share

the coldness it casts in despair

it may not be all that much

but it is all what they've got

yet eyes can be tamed, eyes can even destruct and maime

eyes can turn insane if jealousy is the name

eyes can scream wild for what they want and didn't get

and yess the eyes, they can be bad

it might not be all that much, but the eyes can make it a lot

eyes... are the face, they express anger and laughter

sadness and badness, almost any thing at will

love for life, the pain and the fear inside

its all in the eyes, it may not be all that much

but it is all what they've got

Painless=less pain

walking down the streets of my youth
looking here and there for something
old not new

its laughter and pain come to my mind
yesterday's not always, a good thing to
look for and find

'cause your pain, will always become
more, than you'd ever left behind

so now, I'm wandering through my past
and still I miss that light, I then had it
disappeared and left me over night

never to reclaim its right, to shine again
so very bright, a thing of the past, a lot
of pain, a lot of what I never had

but now, shifting through the leafs of time
now I find, my pain has become more or less
less paimless, now I can shine agian, maybe
so very bright, somewhere in time

Laughter

when all the words have been said

an' ev'ry move has been made

I can only say 'get with it

an' stay with it

laughter didn't die, 

don't be yesterdays paper, 

yesterdays' people always just a breath away

don't be somebodyelse's news, entertainment

be that rock in the street that was never turned

be bold, be proud, don't sell out

don't be somebodyelese's clown sometimes

you got to slow down take a rest, a breath

collect your strenght, up your beat

stay with it

laughter didn't die 

happiness is the price for resisting a black world

where laughter did die see a bright mornin' 

bring a smile to your eyes, your face

  has a soft embrace cause laughter

is alive an' kicking coming to fill

your need today

A valid reason

walkin' down the streets of my youth
lookin' here an' there  and ev'rywhere
tryin' to find something old not new

laughter an' pain come to my mind
yesterday's not always a good thing
to look for an' find

'cause your pain might be waitin' there
an' might have become more than you'd
ever thought you'd find

so does this quest of mine, does it have
a valid reason to continue or should I just
let it be an' get on with life

I think if I saw reason an' I do, it's time
to quit while I'm ahead an' let others decide
if they have it in them

to see reason an' then if they do reach out
for you, thing's they might not be in time
the offer might have been withdrawn

by somethin' so futile an' unreasonable...
as time

Crossroad

well my friends, it's the parting time
remember us in the laughter the tears
and sadness we shared

all the colours of life we will miss
not forget, so will you 'till we meet
at a crossraod relivin' the past

Less pain-painless
